Technical Art/Material Study Project 1 Post 2

This project is a study of technical effects between game assets and their materials based on player interaction. I took several weeks to find real-life inspiration on what effects I'd like to remake in a game setting and ultimately chose to replicate the look of three teamLab projects: Flowers and People on the Water, Crystal Universe, and Forest of Resonating Lamps. I chose these projects not only because I'm a fan of teamLab installations, but also because the projects have very detailed notes for and video documentation that I could use as a reference. I plan to use what I learned in this study in my workflow for future environment projects.
